(MHN Sports Reporter Jang Min-su) – Actress Kim Sae-ron, previously embroiled in a drunk driving scandal, has drawn attention once again after sharing and quickly deleting a series of photos on social media that appeared to hint at marriage.

On January 6, Kim posted several photos with the caption “Marry” on her personal social media account. In the photos, she was seen embracing a man and striking affectionate poses, creating a romantic atmosphere. The post was deleted within minutes, but it sparked intense speculation online. Comments such as “Is this a wedding photo shoot?” and “Is she getting married?” began circulating.

In response to the rumors, Kim clarified in a phone interview with a media outlet, stating, “The photos were taken with friends, and the marriage speculation is not true.” Regarding her decision to delete the post, she added, “It’s difficult to explain.”

Past Controversy: Drunk Driving Incident

Kim’s public image has struggled to recover since her drunk driving scandal in May 2022. She was caught driving under the influence in Gangnam, Seoul, and caused significant damage by crashing into a street tree and a transformer. The incident led to power outages, traffic disruptions, and financial losses for nearby businesses. She was fined 20 million won for the offense and subsequently halted her activities in the entertainment industry.

Attempts at a Comeback

Despite the backlash, Kim has made multiple attempts to return to the spotlight. In August 2023, she appeared in the music video for EI Brothers’ song Bittersweet. She was also set to perform in the play Dongchimi in April 2023 but faced public opposition, which led to her withdrawal and the removal of her promotional materials.

In November 2023, Kim completed filming for the movie Guitar Man, which is slated for release this year. The project represents her latest attempt to stage a comeback.

Kim Sae-ron has faced further scrutiny for her social media activity. Recently, she posted photos with several male celebrities, including Kim Jae-wook, Woo Do-hwan, and Lee Sang-yi, her co-stars from Disney+’s Kiss Sixth Sense and Netflix’s Bloodhounds. These posts were also deleted shortly after being uploaded, drawing criticism for her behavior.

A particularly controversial post featured an intimate photo with actor Kim Soo-hyun, known for his role in tvN’s The Queen of Tears. The photo, which was deleted within three minutes, fueled dating rumors between the two. Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, denied the rumors, stating, “These claims are groundless. We have no understanding of Kim Sae-ron’s intentions with this post,” expressing visible frustration.Uncertain Future
